Imaginative play comes alive with the Melissa & Doug Wooden Birthday Cake Play Set. This colorful wooden set lets children decorate, cut, serve, and share their very own birthday cake again and again. The cake is divided into six ready-to-cut slices that connect with hook-and-loop fasteners, giving children a satisfying experience of slicing and serving. Removable wooden candles and mix-and-match toppings add plenty of opportunities for creative decoration. The sturdy cake plate and serving knife help children act out birthday parties, tea parties, and play-kitchen scenarios. With 34 pieces in total, there's lots to explore and arrange. When playtime is over, the pieces store neatly in the accompanying wooden crate, keeping the set together and ready for the next celebration. Made from durable wooden construction, this set is ideal for developing fine motor control, coordination, communication, and sharing skills.
