Details

• ISLAND CREST ARTWORK: Full colour print of a carved outrigger canoe on a still lagoon, forest peaks, thatched stilt huts, leaning palms and a hibiscus, over a reef of small fish and two turtles.
• THE FABRIC: 150gsm, 100% cotton, the yarn fine ringspun and the knit gauge tight. Collar in narrow rib knit, neck and shoulders taped. It is BCI cotton, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 applies.
• FOR TRAVELLERS AND FAMILY: Worn by supporters, expats and anyone whose family came from the archipelago, and an easy birthday or Christmas idea for a Pacific lover packing for a long trip.
• UK PRINTING: The garment arrives imported; the design goes on here, pressed to order by direct-to-film transfer, which leaves a thin flexible layer moving with the cotton rather than a stiff block.
• LOOKING AFTER IT: Inside out, 40 degrees in the machine. Bleach and dry cleaning are both out. Line dry it, and iron warm on the reverse rather than across the print. Sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL.
