Jelquix Bottom Bracket Tapping Tool for Bicycle Repair, Thread Repair

Details

• Precision Lubrication: Apply threading oil to the tap and bottom bracket interior before use for smooth cuts on the existing horizontal thread. If resistance rises, reverse a few turns to clear chips, then continue with controlled pressure for thread repair.
• Secure Handling: The anti slip handle supports a firm, comfortable grip and controlled turning during demanding threading work. Its shaped helps cyclists and workshop mechanics guide the cutter with less hand strain when inspecting or repairing a bottom bracket.
• Bottom Bracket Repair: Designed for milling and inspecting damaged or shallow threads, this tapping tool restores thread depth and improves bracket function. Use it during bicycle service or workshop rebuilds when a worn shell needs careful correction instead of replacement.
• Replaceable Dies: The threading dies support deeper chip removal and smooth tapping while producing a burr free finish. Replace the working dies when needed to maintain clean cuts for cyclists, repair shops, and regular bottom bracket maintenance.
• Aluminum Alloy and Stainless Steel: The main body combines a lightweight build with high hardness for controlled cutting and reduced chip accumulation. Suitable for serious cyclists and mechanics, it helps limit aluminum debris during bottom bracket servicing.
