• This latest version of the Infinito R1 features a mesh construction that seamlessly integrates ventilation on top.
• The upper part is cut above the top of fabric or microfiber. These T-shirts are created with electronic knitting machines by connecting yarn rings on the needles and can seamlessly change the direction of the knitting yarn to create different sewing patterns. This means being able to design and create functional zones, with ingenious performance in key areas, such as air intakes and mesh openings for increased breathability. Added hydrophobic treatment eliminates rain and road splash. To ensure efficient energy transfer to the pedals, specific zones of hot melt PU have been integrated to create foot support where athletes need it most. This construction ensures that the shoe has superior ventilation and is ultra-lightweight, but with the same support and pedaling efficiency as a traditionally built cycling shoe.
• The volume control system allows for a differentiated shoe fit for the neck of the foot and forefoot areas, whose shape and volume can vary considerably among riders. By controlling two separate Boa fasteners, riders can tune the footwear by adapting it to their unique foot shape for personalized comfort and support. The volume of the forefoot area can be controlled via Infinite, a shoe adjustment feature. Infinite balances tension and further eliminate pressure hot spots by using the fabric strap instead of the plastic lace guides. This closure system acts on a wider area of the shoe's upper, pulling the eyes inward consistently in all directions for a more comfortable and comfortable fit.
• A custom arch fit comes with Dynamic Arch Support, a dedicated piece of shoe vamp that wraps around the arch of the foot and adjusts to fit your Boa dial. Highly rigid R1 unidirectional carbon outsole is tuned for maximum power transfer with ventilation openings that channel airflow through the outsole for efficient temperature control.
