AFW Tooth Proof Fishing Wire Single Strand Leader, #8, 86Lb, 30FT - Camo

Details

• USE: Bite protection from toothy fish is the main/ideal purposes of this leader wire. It’s a hard wire that offers bite protection (or prevents break offs) from toothy fish cutting the connection between your lure and your line, from such species as shark (salt) to pike/muskie (fresh). Stiff but strong wire used for bite traces. Recommend haywire twist or alb testright knot.
• SIZE: #8 = 86lb test / 39kg test. The wire measures .020"/0.51mm. The package includes 30ft of wire.
• COLOR: Camouflaged brown finish vanishes in deep water.
• MATERIAL: Type 304 stainless steel alloy is hard, but not brittle, and delivers the perfect combination of flexibility and strength. AFW’s unique pre-straightening process eliminates cast, providing a straighter leader wire with improved kink resistance.
• MADE IN USA. AFW is the leading wire leader producer. We offer the fishing industry’s most complete line of wire products made in the United States since 1976.
