John Murray Press Windswept & Interesting: My Autobiography by Billy Connolly - Paperback Memoir - Comedy Legend's Life Story

Billy Connolly's first full-length autobiography is a candid, funny and moving account of a truly extraordinary life. Born in a Glasgow tenement in 1942 and orphaned by the age of four, Connolly tells his own story in his own voice. Packed with warmth, mischief and unflinching honesty, this book is a must-read for fans of the British comic icon. About the book, Connolly recounts his early years marked by hardship and abuse within his own family, but instead of being crushed by this start in life, he found his way out through hard work, humour and an unquenchable curiosity about the world. His first escape route was a trade, training as an apprentice, and later he went on to become one of the world's best-loved comedians. This paperback edition of his autobiography is a great read for anyone interested in a British comic icon's life story.
