The Hotel Avocado is the sequel to Bob Mortimer's debut novel, continuing the misadventures of hapless legal assistant Gary Thorn. This second outing blends sharp, off-kilter comedy with a gripping crime mystery, as Gary is torn between the safety of London and a new life in Brighton, all while sinister forces close in. A treat for fans of witty, warm-hearted British fiction with a dark comic edge. Gary Thorn is struggling with a big decision: should he stay in London or move to Brighton, where his girlfriend Emily is about to open The Hotel Avocado? Either way, he'd be letting someone down. But sinister forces are gathering in a cloud of launderette-scented vape. Published by Gallery UK, this hardback book is a must-read for fans of Bob Mortimer's unique style.
